A négyszeres Grammy-díj jelölt mexikói Tambuco Percussion Ensemble-t immár 23 éve a világ legkiválóbb ütőhangszeres együttesei között tartják számon. A közönség öt földrészen élvezheti koncertjeiket, melyek programját nagyon széles és eredeti repertoárjuk anyagából állítják össze, a különböző népek dobzenéjétől az avangard hang-értelmezésig. A Tambuco univerzumában elsődleges szerepet kap az új zeneművek bemutatása a zeneszerzőkkel való szoros együttműködés eredményeként, s a különböző pedagógiai programok mellett a fiatal zeneszerzők megismertetése a közönséggel. Előadásaikban egyedülállóan ötvöződik a zenei tökéletesség iránti vágy a játékossággal, a hitelesség a virtuozitással.
