As a member of the Vienna Boys Choir, the young Austrian pianist Lukas Sternath got the chance to travel the world. After training in his home country, he is now studying with Igor Levit, who himself had the opportunity to introduce himself as a rising star eleven years ago.

Ádám Fischer's career as a conductor, which began more than half a century ago, is linked to his homeland in many ways: the Hungarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Hungarian State Opera, Müpa Budapest and the Austro-Hungarian Haydn Orchestra are all important chapters in his work.

Zsombor Tóth-Vajna is an outstandingly talented member of the young Hungarian generation of artists dedicated to the historically informed performance of early music, both as a conductor and a specialist in early keyboard instruments, playing the organ, harpsichord, fortepiano and clavichord. Győrben is megünnepli pályafutásának 50 éves jubileumát Michael Schenker zenekara, a Michael Schenker Group 2024. július 8-án, a Richter Teremben. A koncerten a legendás gitáros teljes életművét áttekintik és színpadra áll az albumokról jól ismert énekes, Robin McAuley is.

The world-famous Danish baritone Bo Skovhus probably secured his place in the hearts of the Müpa Budapest audience forever when, in a 2013 production of Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg, he was forced to take the stage while suffering from a painful knee problem, yet still managed to incorporate his resulting compromised ability to walk into his unforgettable portrayal.

This season of the Hungarian National Philharmonic Orchestra revolves around the spirit of Zoltán Kocsis. In November, we commemorate the anniversary of his death with a concert, while on his birthday at the end of May we, together with the Academy of Music, are organising the Day of Hungarian Classical Music with the intention of creating a tradition, nurturing old values and encouraging the birth of new ones.
