My Unbridled Horses: Evening Song
A night of lyrical songs with László Kollár-Klemencz, Marcell Dargay and Róbert Farkas

Best known as the frontman of Kistehén, László Kollár-Klemencz is also a member, along other line-ups, of Budapest Bar, where together with bandleader Róbert Farkas and Marc Dargay, the permanent composer of the Katona József Theatre, he reworks famous songs and chansons.

Singer-guitarist László Kollár-Klemencz and violinist Róbert Farkas (who will also play viola, accordion, bouzouki and guitar in this production) already worked together prior to Budapest Bar. In the My Unbridled Horses trio, however, they have moved away in several respects from the world that has characterised them. With Marcell Dargay, the permanent composer of the József Katona Theatre and other theaters, making up the third member on piano, the trio will perform both well-known and more obscure chansons by foreign composers, but almost without exception with new Hungarian translations and texts written by Krisztián Grecsó, Zsolt Máthé and Kollár-Kollár himself. In addition to compositions originally sung by Jacques Brel, Yves Montand, Dalida, Vladimir Vysotsky, Johnny Cash, Benjamin Clementine, Paolo Conte and Marlene Dietrich, the programme will also include songs by Tamás Cseh and Kex, as well as Kollár-Klemencz's own efforts, which, in an evocative and emotional rendering by this singer who also works as a riding teacher and accompanied by the countless ideas of the other musician, creates a unique and unbridled musical world. Making the metamorphosis of these songs even more complete this time will be Vica Kerekes, harpist Anasztázia Razvaljajeva and the Honvéd Male Choir, who, in a sensitive interpretation, will relate the eternal and the human.
