For 38 years the International Palace Games of Visegrád has been a reminder of the famous royal meeting of 1335, which was one of the most significant Central-European events in the Middle Ages. During the 3 days of the festival the colourful medieval life will be revived by spectacular tournaments of hundreds of knights, royal parades, medieval music, dance and more.

Description
The spectacular tournament of infantrymen and mounted knights - together with Italian flag-throwing show, archers’ show, medieval dance and falconry shows, as well as jousting - is held at the original tournament field of the royal palace with amazing performances featuring outstanding international participants, among others Lajos Kassai, the world-famous horseback archer.

Internet ticket holders get the daily ticket gratis at the Information Point at the entrance of the festival area!
A 60-minute tour starts every day at 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30 in English. To request a tour in other languages (Italian, Spanish, German, French and Hungarian), please get in touch with the OperaTour team. Please note that the auditorium is closed for visits during rehearsals. Guided tours are not available during performances.
